I FINALLY got this picture framed for my dad! It’s his Christmas gift and yes, it’s three years late because I got married in 2009. But the print was a gift from our photographer and it took a long time for me to get it framed because it was a funny size and got a little crinkled in the shipping. But it looks great after the framers got done with it!! I’m so excited to share this with y’all but I’m even more excited to finally give it to him. It was such a precious moment. He was sweating and trying not to cry and he couldn’t quite figure out what was going on with my veil (which I made) - it’s one of my favorite wedding memories. :)

WOOHOO!!! I posted my first listing on Etsy!!! GOAL ACHIEVED. These Chinese Wedding Dolls were crocheted as a Custom Order for my first international client (as well as my first Etsy customer!). I have no words for how ecstatic I am right now… so I’ll just do a happy dance. :D

They are about 8” tall, so they’ll be perfect as table decor at their wedding reception. More important, these soft sculptures will happily inhabit a cozy little corner of the newlyweds’ home, serving as a reminder of one of the happiest days of their lives! :)

I am very honored to have worked with Kevin on this creation, and I’m excited to send these sweethearts off to their new home.
