“Pink hearts, red roses, lovely dresses, pretty accessories and fun girly stuff thrown in for good measure. Reflecting the heart of a little girl’s childhood.”

This really doesn’t do it justice, but here’s a pic of the stitches in my latest blanket. I wanted something that would make the short vareigation a little more interesting without getting completely lost in all the fuzziness. It’s a delightfully snuggly little thing! Now I just need to work out the ruffled edge for it.
I’ve been working on another new blanket these past few days. This one is a tribute of sorts to a very special little one who changed my life. I think about her every day but it’s time to let go… At least as best I can. My hope is that this blanket and the pattern as made by others with love and care will warm and beautify the lives of many other little girls and their mothers.

I really need to make one of these! Well, maybe not in pink… My husband might not appreciate that!
Don’t forget to comment on the pattern page to be entered in a drawing for a pair of the original pink sparkly hair clips!
Wow, y’all! I’m really close to having 500 downloads of my thread crochet flower hair clip pattern on Craftsy!! So I’m going to do my very first giveaway!
You have three places to enter: Craftsy, Ravelry, and my WordPress blog. Simply leave a comment on one (or all!) of the pattern pages and if I’ve reached 500 downloads on Craftsy by this Friday, April 6th, 2012, I’ll do a drawing for a free pair of the original sparkly pink flower hair clips, as packaged above!
It’s springtime in my crochet tote!
I was recently commissioned to make a set of six pink, purple, and white flower hair clips - we ended up deciding on two sets, one pink trio and one purple trio with ALL of them different! This was a really fun project and I hope the little girls to which they’ll soon belong will love them!
