A little beading on the plate today.

As suspected, the thinner thread I originally chose for this necklace did not hold up to its stress test. Restringing with hemp instead.

First necklace made with the weekend’s bead haul! Solid black with glass beads, hand strung and knotted on black thread, approximately 63” long so it can be wrapped up to three or four times. Sore thumb prognosis? 85%

Some of this weekend’s bead haul! Got a lot more necklaces planned for this fall. I’m loving getting back to the beading but it’s taking time away from my crocheting…

Did a little last minute beading yesterday for what is sure to be a fabulous wedding weekend!! I had to have a necklace to match my red heels. ;)
