It’s TIME!!! I am super excited to announce that I have received my sales tax license - so I’m legal to sell in Texas now, lol! My ArtFire Studio is finally live once again and I’ve just published my first crochet pattern in AGES, so it’s time to celebrate! With a giveaway!! Yay! I’ve got one finished snowflake ornament in the color of your choice, a copy of the new pattern, and just for fun, a pair of pretty little pink coral stitch markers so y’all go enter while I do a happy dance ha ha! Oh and here’s the mobile friendly link. Good luck!!
You can purchase the pattern and download it on Ravelry or Craftsy, and I’ll have more snowflake ornaments available at $25 each or six for $120 in my studio soon!
Just a little sneak peek at one of the things I’ve got planned for tomorrow! ;)
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month and a couple weeks ago I participated in a nail art contest to help support this cause. I didn’t win, but as it’s the last day of the month, I wanted to go ahead and share my #goldribbonnails because a cure starts with awareness. <3
Base coat: Orly Nail Defense Strengthening Protein Treatment
Primary colors: Alexandra & Dahlia by Julep and Boudoir by Victoria’s Secret
Secondary colors: one thin layer of Gold Leaf by Mary Kay over Dahlia followed by the gold flower stickers, which looked way better before I put top coat over them. :(
Heart decals were made with Vivid Lacquer plate VL009 using El Matador by cultcosmetics. I used gold foil and Boudoir to fill just a few of the hearts. This was my first experience trying to stamp with foil and I think I really need to invest in some foil glue because it did NOT want to stick! So this definitely isn’t as neat as I would like, plus I got some smears and bubbles in the layers of my decals, so I’m not as happy with this as I would like to be, but I suppose it’s not terrible for a first try. The hearts charm is from Hex Nail Jewelry.
Top Coat: HK Girl Top Coat by Glisten & Glow

Tee hee hee! I’m revisiting my snowflake pattern to get it ready to publish - I’m going to release my original version of it soon - and I forgot how cute the squiggly little unstarched version is!
Another new discover crochet class project at Michaels - new curriculum begins October 1st!
Rudolph potholder! :) #crochet
Me and old Salvador are out enjoying a little tea and sunshine on the last summer morning of the year.
Okay, I don’t totally love this #mani (really want to try asteroid b over black now, though!) but tell me that doesn’t look like a #ghost hand reaching out for me!!! O.o #rainbowhoney
Guess I’m starting this manicure all over! I think the furthest I spread the paint this time was my elbow…
